His love for radio began in the late 90’s listening to “Mike and Tim in the morning” on 107.1 WA1A
His senior year at satellite high school he followed his passion and joined AM 920 WMEL as a board operator.
As his passion grew, he started banging on the door of other stations in the area. He was finally let in by Denny stone of Hit kicker country 102.7. He did weekends
It didn’t take long before Michael W. Lowe snatched him up and gave him a shot on 107.1 and gave him his first ever radio name “Ty the baby DJ”
Ty took a break and decided to explore the entertainment world working for “Jaws the ride” at universal Orlando and doing some mobile work for Disney cruise line.
As time past he met Dave “Super Dave” Poore. With persistence (borderline annoying) and passion in Ty’s heart. Dave brought Ty to the 98.5 the Beach
